Considered as one of the greatest entrepreneurs of our time, Professor Yunus is the father of microcredit and social business, the founder of the Grameen Bank and of over 60 national size social businesses in Bangladesh. For his contribution to the fight against poverty throughout the world, Professor Yunus and the Grameen Bank jointly received in 2006 the Peace Nobel Prize. Professor Yunus is also laureate of countless recognitions, like the US Congressional Gold Medal and the US Presidential Medal of Freedom.
