The Global Social Business Summit 2011, Vienna.

In 2011 the Global Social Business Summit moved to Vienna in Austria. 500 participants came together to discuss latest achievements and strategies of future developments on 10-12 November 2011. The summit was held over a course of three days adding the theme of culture and arts. 

On the occasion of the Global Social Business Summit 2011 a TEDx event focused on social business was held as well featuring Prof. Yunus, Hans Reitz and many other experts and entrepreneurs of the social business movement as speakers.

On the day prior to the summit, the Young Challengers Meeting was held again and for the first time the Academia Meeting gathered academics from around the world and offered the unique opportunity to share their work in the field of social business within research, practice and teaching.
