The theme of the Global Social Business Summit 2018 was Building a New Civilization. Held in Wolfsburg Germany from 6th-9th November, the Summit represented an important step for the Social Business community have fostered over the past years, by welcoming new participants with different backgrounds to increase our impact and expand our movement.

In this spirit, inclusiveness, impact and sustainability were the three commitments placed at the center of the organization of the event as well as the dedication to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG‘s) of the United Nations (UN). The Summit also focused on further developing concrete actions through our Hubs on plastic, sports, food and solidarity.

The summit was attended by people around the globe with speeches from Prof. Yunus, Roland Clement, CEO of Autostadt, Dr. Maria Flachsbarth, Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development, Monica Yunus Co-Founder and Co-Executive Director of Sing for Hope, Torsten Schreiber, Founder of Africa GreenTec, among others.
