The fourth Global Social Business Summit was held on 8th-10th November in Vienna at Austria Center Vienna. Over 600 guests from more than 60 nations has attended the summit.
The official motto for The Global Social Business Summit 2012 was – “Power of Innovation – To Change the World”.

This time, over 600 guests attended from more than 60 nations, including guests and speakers such as Her Majesty, Queen Sofia of Spain, actress Monique Coleman and the United Nations Assistant Secretary General, Thomas Stelzer, Prime minister of Albania H.E. Sali Berisha.
ANNOUNCEMENT OF PROF. YUNUS AS AMBASSADOR OF UNITED POSTCODE LOTTERIES
Prof. Yunus is a new international Goodwill Ambassador to the United Postcode Lotteries. Yunus’ appointment is based on his successful work within social business. “Muhammad Yunus is a pioneer and inspiration within social business. His ability to create economic and social development at grassroots level demonstrates the strength of social entrepreneurship,” said Niclas Kjellström-Matseke, CEO of the Swedish Postcode Lottery. The Postcode Lottery is the world’s third largest private donor to charitable causes, and has donated 5,4 billion Euros to good causes since its start in 1989.

Highlights of the event amongst others included Swarmworks, based on swarm intelligence, as an innovative interactive format for content creation and presentation to get inputs and feedback from all participants and utilize the potential of the audiences.
